Getting a Puppy from Us

Here is where you can learn about our process to buy a puppy.

First, we require an application from every prospective buyer. *See Application Section* (It's not that bad, I promise)

After an application is received and approved we will accept a deposit for a puppy. Because of the high demand for our puppies we accept deposits with a receipt at anytime after a litter is scheduled and application is approved.

Puppy selections are made by the buyers in the order the deposits are received. The selections are made at 6 weeks of age. Puppies will be ready to go home at 8 weeks old. We have an open-door policy and invite all buyers scheduled times to come meet the puppies in person for selections. We also offer scheduled video chats and in depth puppy personality screenings to aid in buyer decisions for buyers that are unable to travel to us.

On the day you come to pick up your puppy you will need to be prepared to spend some time filling out any paperwork that hasn't been previously completed. You will need to complete our bill of sale and contract and AKC registration form before the puppy leaves our care. All of our contracts and documents are available Here for your consideration and review beforehand, but we will have everything printed out and ready for signatures when you arrive. 

In order to remain in good standing with the AKC we ensure 100% AKC registration for all of our puppies. This means we require every buyer to fill out their AKC paperwork at the time of pick up. We require that each of our puppies carry our kennel name, "Von Okanogan Rottweilers," but the buyer can choose any primary name they’d like. You will need to have a registered name chosen, (this doesn't have to be the same name you will call your puppy every day). You will also need to bring a method of payment for the AKC registration form.

***In cases where puppies are going to be shipped or delivered we require all paperwork to be completed and all payments to be processed before the puppy leaves our care. We will discuss the process of AKC registration prior to shipping also. After all of the paperwork is complete and payments are processed, you will only need to take your little bundle of joy and love into your arms and head Home!
